Wednesday Cable: 'Royal Pains' Rises, 'Necessary Roughness' Dips, But 'Storage Wars' Wins Again

Storage Wars topped the night with  a 2.1 and 2.0 adults 18-49 rating for its telecasts, up a tenth each versus the same episodes last week.

Royal Pains was up 14% to a 1.6 adults 18-49 rating and Necessary Roughness was down a tenth to a with a 1.2 adults 18-49 rating. 'Pains' can claim bragging rights as the night's most-watched show on cable though. MTV's Challenge Rivals was down a tenth to a 1.2 adults 18-49 rating. Rescue Me was up a tenth to a 0.6 adults 18-49 rating.

Hot In Cleveland was down a tenth with a 0.4 adults 18-49 rating, but Happily Divorced was up 0.1 to a 0.4 adults 18-49 rating. Melissa & Joey was steady with a 0.5 adults 18-49 rating and with repeats as itself as its lead in,  Dance Moms was up 66% to a 0.5 adults 18-49 rating.

**I have not yet seen the ratings for either the 8pm Melissa & Joey, or either of the two State of Georgia episodes that aired, but will add them here when I do.**

We only receive the top 100 cable shows for adults 25-54 for the whole day from our source. If you don't see an original episode of a show here, it's because it wasn't in the top 100. If the show you're looking for isn't in the list, it doesn't mean it went down or even necessarily that it's lower than the shows in the list below, it just means we didn't see it.
