NEW YORK, NY (August 26, 2011) – MTV2 is putting the finishing touches on the premiere season of its highest rated original series “The DUB Magazine Project” with the season finale airing Sunday, August 28 at 1pm ET/ 12pm CT. Throughout the season, the celebrity lifestyle and car culture series has delivered rarely seen looks into the lives of some of the hottest names in entertainment. Hosted by hip hop superstar Game, the series has taken viewers into the lives of artists and athletes such as Amber Rose, Big Sean, DJ Khaled, Far East Movement, Lil Wayne, Mike Posner, and Shaquille “Shaq” O’Neal.
In the season finale, we catch up with rapper/singer Sean Kingston as he takes DUB cameras inside his home and shows where the hits are made in an exclusive tour of his studio. Then model and current girlfriend of Wiz Khalifa, Amber Rose does a photo shoot with DUB and talks about being a natural women, what’s coming up in her career and wanting to settle into married life with kids. Paul Wall takes his chances on the Dirtball challenge. Finally, after watching the customization of Shaq’s Ford Mustang, fans will watch as the Dub Garage puts the finishing touches on the dream ride, but will the NBA legend like it?
“The DUB Magazine Project,” which premiered on July 10, is MTV2’s highest-rated original series. Heading into this week’s finale episode, “The DUB Magazine Project” delivered its largest audience of the season on Sunday, August 21st, growing +26% from its season-to-date average. “The DUB Magazine Project” has posted consecutive series-high viewing totals heading into this week’s finale.
