Univision ranks as the #1 network for the entire week among Adults 18-34
Univision continues to be the summer’s #1 pick among Adults 18-34
Univision Broadcast Prime Highlights - Week of August 22, 2011 to August 28, 2011
- Univision was the #1 broadcast network in primetime among Adults 18-34, out-delivering ABC (+60%), FOX (+69%), NBC (+37%), and CBS (+38%).
- Univision was the #3 broadcast network in primetime among Adults 18-49, out-delivering ABC (+8%) and FOX (+38%.)
- Univision ranks as the #1 broadcast network for the entire summer among Adults 18-34 beating FOX (+8%), ABC (+12%), NBC (+30%), and CBS (+85%.) Univision has also posted year-to year audience increases among Adults 18-49 and Total Viewers 2+.
- Univision was the #1 network on four out of seven nights last week among Adults 18-34.
- Univision out-delivered two or more of the English-language broadcast networks (ABC, CBS, NBC or FOX) on six out of seven nights last week among Adults 18-49. Univision also out-delivered two or more English-language broadcast networks on every night last week among Adults 18-34.
- Univision aired 11 of the top 20 programs this past week among Adults 18-34.
- Led by “Fuerza del Destino,” Univision ranked as the #1 broadcast network for the week from 9PM to 10PM among Adults 18-34 and ranked #2 among Adults 18-49.
- From 8PM to 9PM airing “Teresa”, Univision ranked as the #1 broadcast network for the week among Adults 18-34 and ranked #2 among Adults 18-49.
- Thus far in 2011, Univision continues to be the #3 broadcast network averaging more Adults 18-34 viewers than CBS (+15%) and NBC (+17%).
- Season-to-Date, Univision continues to post year-to-year primetime audience increases among Adults 18-49 (+6%) while the English-language broadcast networks are reporting audience declines (ABC -8%, CBS -8%, NBC -11%, and FOX -5%); Univision’s audience also increased among Total Viewers 2+ (+6%) and Adults 18-34 (+4%).
- Versus the comparable week a year ago, Univision’s audience has increased among Total Viewers 2+ (+7%), Adults 18-49 (+6%), and Adults 18-34 (+5%.)
- In its fourth week on air, “La Fuerza Del Destino” continues to break weekly records, posting its highest weekly performance to-date among Total Viewers 2+ (4.8 million), Adults 18-49 (2.6 million), and Adults 18-34 (1.5 million.) The novela also ranked as the top-rated program for the third consecutive Friday among Adults 18-34 (1.4 million)
- Univision was the #1 network for the 3rd consecutive Friday night among Adults 18-34 and ranked #2 among Adults 18-49.
ü Univision aired the top 2 programs for the night among Adults 18-34 including the #1 program for the night, “Fuerza del Destino” (The Power of Destiny) and #2 ranked “Teresa.” Both programs delivered more Adult 18-34 viewers than the “NFL Game” on FOX and ABC’s “20/20.”
ü Univision’s entire prime line up ranked among the top ten programs among Adults 18-49 including the #2 program for the night, “Fuerza del Destino” (The Power of Destiny,) #3 ranked “Teresa,” and #6 ranked “Rosa de Guadalupe.”
- On Saturday night Univision was the #2 network among Adults 18-34 attracting more viewers than FOX (+45%), ABC (+27%), and NBC (+231%.)
ü Univision’s “Sabado Gigante” (Giant Saturday) was the #2 program for the night among Adults 18-34 and #3 among Adults 18-49.
- On Sunday night, Univision ranked as the #2 network among Adults 18-34. Audiences continue to tune in to Univision’s talent competition “Pequeños Gigantes” (Little Giants), the #3 program Sunday night among Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34.
ü Led by the continued success of Pequeños Gigantes, Univision was the #1 network among Kids 2-11 and #2 ranked among Teens 12-17 for the entire week.

Thus far in the 2010/2011 Season, TeleFutura Continues to Generate More Nightly Wins over Telemundo versus the Same Period in the 2009/2010 Season Among Adults 18-49

• Last week, TeleFutura generated 429,000 Total Viewers 2+, 254,000 Adults 18-49 and 124,000 Adults 18-34 during Broadcast Prime (Mon-Sat 8pm-11pm/Sun 7pm-11pm).
• TeleFutura saw significant audience growth among Total Viewers 2+ (429,000 vs. 390,000; +10%), Adults 18-49 (254,000 vs. 229,000; +11%) and Adults 18-34 (124,000 vs. 104,000; +19%) during broadcast prime (M-Sat 8pm-11pm, Sun 7pm-11pm) compared to its prior week performance (08/15/11 – 08/21/11).
• Thus far in the 2010/11 Season, TeleFutura continues to produce more nightly wins over Telemundo during broadcast prime versus the same period in the 2009/10 Season among Adults 18-49 (82 nights vs. 77 nights).
ü TeleFutura’s weeknight 8pm novela, “Doña Bella” delivered 337,000 Total Viewers 2+, 180,000 Adults 18-49 and 82,0000 Adults 18-34. Reported single to double-digit audience increases over its previous week average among Adults 18-49 (180,000 vs. 169,000; +7%) and Adults 18-34 (82,000 vs. 72,000; +14%).
ü In its third week, TeleFutura’s M-F 9pm novela “El Utimo Matrimonio Feliz” attracted 304,000 Total Viewers 2+, 172,000 Adults 18-49 and 70,000 Adults 18-34. It produced double-digit audience growth compared to its prior week performance (08/15/11-08/19/11) among Adults 18-34 (70,000 vs. 63,000; +11%).
• On Saturday night (August 27, 2011) from 8pm-11pm, TeleFutura’s primetime line-up which consisted of back-to-back soccer games “Fútbol LigaMexicana: Pachuca vs. America” and “Fútbol Liga Mexicana: San Luis vs. Guadalajara” delivered more Total Viewers 2+ (TF 709,000 vs. TEL 608,000; +17% Adv.), Adults 18-49 (TF 440,000 vs. TEL 381,000; +15% Adv.) and Adults 18-34 (TF 238,000 vs. TEL 174,000; +37% Adv.) than Telemundo’s“Fútbol Estelar: Monterrey vs. Santos” and “Cine de Impacto II: Double Impact” line-up.
