Thursday Cable: Even 'Jersey Shore' Repeats Can't Be Beaten; 'Burn Notice,' 'Suits,' 'Project Runway' & Lots More

I figured that with a Jersey Shore repeat this Thursday another cable show might move up to the top of the list, but no dice. Even a repeat towered over the rest of the cable show ratings on Thursday. Note to broadcast programmers: If a Jersey Shore repeat can draw a 2.2 rating at 10pm in the summer, you look increasingly silly trying to make excuses for your own low 10pm ratings because of DVRs, etc.

USA’s Burn Notice was down another 0.2 to a 1.1 adults 18-49 rating, but stablemate Suits which had to go head-to-head with Jersey Shore was steady with a 1.2 adults 18-49 rating. I've been away most of the summer, is that the first time Suits outrated Burn Notice? Our friend Ted Linhart at USA notes that it wasn't.

Lifetime's Project Runway was down two-tenths to a 1.2 adults 18-49 rating.

A&E's Beyond Scared Straight was down two tenths from last week to a 0.9 adults 18-49 rating.

FX’s Wilfred, which also had to battle Jersey show was even with last week's 0.7 adults 18-49 rating,. Comedy Central’s Futurama was up a tenth to a 0.8 adults 18-49 rating. LA Ink was down a tenth to a 0.4 adults 18-49 rating.

We only receive the top 100 cable shows for adults 25-54 for the whole day from our source. If you don’t see an original episode of a show here, it’s because it wasn’t in the top 100. I attempt to filter out repeats, kids shows, and most non-primetime shows. Also, to limit the size of the list, I list only the top rated airing of each individual show.Will add extras that @TravisYanan reports later below.
