Early Ratings: ‘Two and a Half Men’ Very, Very Hot, ‘The Playboy Club’ Not; ‘Castle’ Up
Update: Two and Half Men scored a 10.3 adults 18-49 rating and 27.76 million viewers. Full details now available here.
We don’t usually put much stock in the metered market overnights that focus on household rating (percentage of homes watching) but it’s opening week, and it will be a while before the fast national data with total viewers and adults 18-49 demo are available, so… please note, all ratings below are household ratings. We’ll post the 18-49 demo rating and total viewers once they are available (should be posted between 11:30a-Noon ET).
Last night’s Sheen-less Two and a Half Men scored an 18.7/26 household rating/share. That compares to last season’s premiere 9.5/14 rating/share, so it was nearly doubled. The special airing of 2 Broke Girls saw a 12.7/18 household rating share, a nice sampling. Nothing really to compare it with since last year didn’t have the big Two and a Half Men premiere, but Mike & Molly premiered with a 7.9/11 household ratings share on 9/20/10.
The Playboy Club saw household ratings of 4.1/6 and 3.7/6 in each of its half hours. That compares to last year’s 4.7/7 and 4.5/7 for each half hour of Chase.
Dancing with the Stars looks to be down a bit over last season’s fall premiere. Last night’s half hour household ratings/shares were 13.3/20, 13.9/20, 13.2/19 and 14.1/20. That compares to last year’s 14.3/21, 15.3/22, 15.4/22, and 15.5/22. Meanwhile, Castle’s half hours were a 9.8/15 and an 8.7/14, up from last year’s 8.5/13 and 7.4/12.
Hawaii Five-0‘s half hours were 8.3/13 and 7.7/13 compared to last year’s (in its series premiere) 10.0/15 and 9.3/15
