Total Viewers for Fox News Channel's Coverage of Orlando Debate Tops All Debates in 2011

Fox News Channel's coverage of last night's debate was the most-watched debate during the 2011 season, according to Nielsen.  The Fox News/Google debate averaged 6.1 million viewers with 1.7 million in the 25-54 demographic.  Not only did the debate top all other debates thus far in 2011, but it beat half of NBC’s new fall lineup, including Prime Suspect, and was up against heavy competition with many fall premieres during the 9-11p timeslot.

The Fox News/Google debate averaged 6,107,000 viewers with 1,701,000 in the 25-54 demographic from 9-11PM.  Below are ratings to the other debates so far this season:
