In the rush to get DVR PR out ever sooner, you'll likely see network announcements about ratings increases from DVR viewing in the Live+3 Day period for the beginning of broadcast premiere week today.
Here are the adults 18-49 Live+Same Day, Live+ 3 Day and ratings % change for the Monday-Wednesday shows last week. Not surprisingly, when DVR viewing is included, most shows ratings increase, however, most shows *relative* ratings do not change much, and that's what matters to their futures. If your favorite show increased by 20%, and the rest of the shows on the same network increased by the same amount, it didn't improve its survival chances at all!
