‘Saturday Night Live’ w/ Alec Baldwin & Radiohead Scores Preliminary 2.6 Adults 18-49 Rating

In the preliminary ratings, the Saturday Night Live season premiere hosted by Alec Baldwin with musical guest Radiohead scored a 2.6 adults 18-49 rating in the 25 markets with Local People Meters.

That was a bit (~10%) below average compared to original SNL episode last season.  As is typical with new SNL episodes, it was the top-rated program on the broadcast networks for the night

In late-night metered-market households Saturday night:

“Saturday Night Live” (5.0/13 in metered-market households), hosted by Alec Baldwin with musical guest Radiohead, dominated its time period, delivering the #1 rating of the night ahead of all primetime telecasts on ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox.

In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, “Saturday Night Live” averaged a 2.6 rating, 12 share in adults 18-49, making it the #1 telecast of the night ahead of all primetime programs on CBS, NBC or Fox.
