FOX Tops Adults 18-49 Ratings In Premiere Week Ending September 25, 2011

FOX  led all broadcast networks in primetime for premiere week with adults 18-49 with a 3.4 rating (up 31% vs. last season), ahead of CBS’s 3.1 adults 18-49 rating (down 6% vs. last season). ABC was third with a 2.8 adults 18-49 rating (even with last season). NBC was fourth with a 2.6 rating (down 7% vs. last season), followed by Univision with a 1.6 rating (flat vs. last season). The CW finished sixth with a 0.8 adults 18-49 rating average (down 36% vs. last season).

CBS won the week with total viewers averaging 12.12 million viewers, ahead of second place ABC’s 9.87 million average.  FOX was third with 8.37 million, followed by NBC with 7.50m, Univision with 3.69, and the CW 1.64m.

Each adults 18-49 rating point is a percentage of the adults 18-49 US TV population and equals 1.279 million adults 18-49.
