Based on Nielsen’s just-released NAD (National Audience Demographics) Live + Same Day Ratings for Premiere Week:
- ABC finished as the #1 network during premiere week among Upscale Adults 18-49 ($100K+ annual income homes) in the non-sports averages, beating its nearest competition by 10% (3.2 rating vs. 2.9 rating – CBS and Fox tied). In addition, ABC also earned the top ranks in other key Upscale categories, including high-income professionals or managers and those with 4+ years of college.
- ABC claimed 5 of the Top 15 entertainment telecasts during the first week of the season with Upscale Adults 18-49 (AD18-49 in $100K+ annual income homes), including 2 of the Top 3 and the No. 1 new drama with “Pan Am:” “Modern Family SP-9/21” (10.4 rating) - #2, “Modern Family” (9.8 rating) - #3, while “Pan Am” (4.4 rating),” “Dancing with the Stars (4.4 rating) and “Grey’s Anatomy (4.4 rating) tied at #13.
