CBS Tops Adults 18-49 Ratings in Week 2 Ending October 2, 2011

CBS led all broadcast networks in primetime for premiere week with adults 18-49 with a 3.2 rating (up 3% vs. last season), ahead of FOX's 2.8 adults 18-49 rating (even vs. last season). ABC and NBC tied for third with a 2.4 adults 18-49 rating followed by Univision with a 1.7 rating. The CW finished sixth with a 0.8 adults 18-49 rating average (down 27% vs. last season).

CBS won the week with total viewers averaging 12.24 million viewers, ahead of second place ABC's 8.67 million average.  FOX was third with 7.39 million, followed by NBC with 7.09 m, Univision with 3.98m, and the CW 1.83m.

Each adults 18-49 rating point is a percentage of the adults 18-49 US TV population and equals 1.279 million adults 18-49.
