Report: ‘Dexter’ Star Michael C. Hall and Showtime at Impasse on a Seventh Season

The same day that Dexter scored 2.2 million viewers in the initial telecast of its sixth season premiere — a series high for a premiere episode, and 24% higher than last year — negotiations between Dexter star Michael C. Hall and Showtime reached an impasse according to a report from Deadline.com. Hall’s contract expires after the current sixth season which is about to wrap production. According to Deadline, Hall is seeking $24 million for a two-year deal and Showtime is offering $20 million.

I’d bet that this impasse too, shall pass…
