Univision Broadcast Prime Highlights – Week of September 26, 2011 to October 2, 2011

 

  • Univision out-delivered one or more of the English-language broadcast networks (ABC, CBS, NBC or FOX) on six out of seven nights last week among Adults 18-34. Thus far in 2011, Univision is the #2 broadcast network in this demographic, averaging more Adults 18-34 viewers than ABC (+2%), CBS (+16%), and NBC (+10%).
  • Univision was the #1 network for the fifth consecutive Friday among Adults 18-49 and for the 27th consecutive Friday night among Adults 18-34. Univision’s entire primetime line-up ranked as the top 3 programs for the night among Adults 18-34.

ü  “Teresa ranked as the #1 program for the third consecutive Friday night among Adults 18-49(2.9 Million) and Adults 18-34 (1.6 Million).

ü  “La Fuerza del Destino” was the #2 program among Adults 18-49 (2.7 Million) and Adults 18-34 (1.5 Million).  “La Fuerza del Destino” delivered more Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34 viewers than the entire line-ups on FOX (“Kitchen Nightmare’s” and “Fringe”), CBS (“Gifted Man,” “CSI: NY” and “Blue Bloods;”) and CW (“Nikita” and “Supernatural”) as well as ABC’s “20/20”

ü  At 10PM Univision’s “Rosa de Guadalupe” ranked as the #3 program among Adults 18-34  and increased it audience compared to the prior week among Total Viewers 2+ (3.8 million, +16%) and Adults 18-49 (2.0 million, +9%).

  • From 8PM to 9PM airing “Teresa”, Univision ranked as the #3 broadcast network for the week among Adults 18-34. “Teresa” achieved its best weekly performance since its debut on 03/30/2011 among Total Viewers 2+ (5.2 million) and Adults 18-49 (2.9 million).
  •  On Monday night Univision’s entire primetime line-up ranked among the top 20 programs among Adults 18-49 and Adutls 18-34. Univision’s programming also out performed CW’s primetime line-up including the fifth season premiere of “Gossip Girl” and the series premiere “Hart of Dixie.”

ü  Head-to head at 8PM, Univision’s “Teresa” out delivered  CW’s “Gossip Girl” audience by double digit margins among Total Viewers 2+ (5.1 Million, +272%), Adults 18-49 (2.9 Million, +202%), and A18-34 (1.6 Million, +113%)

ü  Following at 9PM “Fuerza del Destino” aired against “Hart of Dixie” and posted double digit gains among Total Viewers 2+ (5 Million, +166%), Adults 18-49 (2.8 Million, +186%) and A18-34 (1.5 Million, +171%) viewers as the CW series premiere

ü  At 10PM “Don Francisco Presenta,” delivered more viewers versus the prior week among Total Viewers 2+ (2.9 million, +3%) and Adults 18-49 (1.6 million, +8%).

  • On Thursday night Univision’s primetime line-up ranked within the top 20 programs for the entire night among Adults 18-49 including “Teresa” (#9), “La Fuerza Del Destino” (#11) and “Mujeras Asesinas” (#17). “Mujeras Asesinas” also generated audience growth compared to the prior week among Adults 18-49 (+3%), and Adults 18-34 (+20%).
  • On Saturday, Univision ranked as the #3 network for the night among Adults 18-34 and aired the #3 program for the night “Sabado Gigante” (Giant Saturday).  “Sabado Gigante” posted double digit audience increases among Total Viewers 2+ (+19%), Adults 18-49 (+29%), and Adults 18-34 (+32%) versus last week.

 TeleFutura Broadcast Prime Highlights – Week of September 26, 2011 to October 2, 2011

 

  • In week 2 of the 2011/2012 Season, TeleFutura attracted 451,000 Total Viewers 2+, 260,000 Adults 18-49 and 120,000 Adults 18-34 during Broadcast Prime (Mon-Sat 8pm-11pm/Sun 7pm-11pm).
  •  Versus week 1 of the 2011/2012 Season, TeleFutura produced double-digit audience increases among key demographics that included Total Viewers 2+ (451,000 vs. 403,000; +12%), Adults 18-49 (260,000 vs. 237,000; +10%) and Adults 18-34 (120,000 vs. 99,000; +21%) during broadcast prime (M-Sat 8pm-11pm, Sun 7pm-11pm).
  •  TeleFutura’s weeknight novela, “El Utimo Matrimonio Feliz” drew in 344,000 Total Viewers 2+, 195,000 Adults 18-49 and 76,000 Adults 18-34.  The  9pm novela recorded its 2nd highest weekly performance since its premiere (08/08/11) among Total Viewers 2+ and Adults 18-34.
  •  With a total of 6 telecasts, TeleFutura’s 10pm novela “Correo de Inocentes” generated 469,000 Total Viewers 2+, 272,000 Adults 18-49 and 110,000 Adults 18-34.  In comparison to the first 6 airings of “Reto de Mujer” in the time period, “Correo de Inocentes” is pacing ahead by double-digit margins among Total Viewers 2+ (469,000 vs. 326,000; +44%), Adults 18-49 (272,000 vs. 232,000; +17%) and Adults 18-34 (110,000 vs. 100,000; +10%).
