truTV has ordered a pilot for Guinness World Records Gone Wild, a new series that challenges everyday people to push themselves to do astonishing things for their place in history. Jamie Kennedy(Scream, The Jamie Kennedy Experiment) is hosting the pilot, which is being produced for truTV by High Noon Entertainment ( ).
Guinness World Records Gone Wild will feature average, everyday folks taking their shot at landing a place in the famed record book. Among the records the show will set out to break are the most panes of glass run through in one minute, fastest time to jump over three oncoming cars, highest dive into 12 inches of water, most kicks to the head in one minute, most live cockroaches held in the mouth, most paintballs to hit a person in 30 seconds and the most people crammed into a tiny car, to name a few.
Guinness World Records Gone Wild is executive-produced by High Noon Entertainment’s Pamela Healey and Jim Berger. For truTV, Robyn Hutt serves as executive in charge of production, while Angel Annussek is executive producer. Michael Binkow also serves as executive producer. For Guinness World Records, Rob Molloy is executive producer.
