Venture Over The Rainbow Monday, Oct. 31, For A Special “Wizard Of Oz”-Themed Episode Featuring Paula Deen, Cloris Leachman… And A Surprise Guest Appearance
All yellow brick roads lead to THE TALK as the daytime talk show celebrates Halloween with a truly magical “Wizard of Oz”-themed episode onMonday, Oct. 31 (2:00-3:00 PM, ET; 1:00-2:00 PM, PT), on the CBS Television Network. Join co-hosts Dorothy (Sara Gilbert), the Tin Man (Julie Chen), the Cowardly Lion (Sheryl Underwood), Scarecrow (Aisha Tyler) and Glinda the Good Witch (Sharon Osbourne) as they welcome guests Paula Deen and Cloris Leachman to THE TALK’s own Emerald City, where lots of spooky surprises are in store.
First, TV chef Paula Deen makes a can’t-miss entrance to join the ladies on stage. She shares delicious Halloween-themed recipes from her new cookbook and shows co-hosts Julie Chen and Sharon Osbourne how to make her signature Monkey Bread.
THE TALK also welcomes Emmy Award-winning TV icon Cloris Leachman who “flies in” as the Wicked Witch of the West to discuss her new sitcom role, the autobiography she and her ex-husband penned about her life, and other stories from her vast career.
Finally, the Cowardly Lion (co-host Sheryl Underwood) has to face one of her biggest fears as animal expert Tom Stalf brings several creepy creatures to THE TALK set, including black rat snakes, hissing cockroaches, a vulture, a great-horned owl, opossums and one of the world’s largest species of scorpion.
