Fox Leads Adults 18-49, CBS Leads Viewership Through Week 6 Ending October 30, 2011
After the first six weeks of the 2011-12 TV season, Fox is still in the season-to-date lead among adults 18-49 with a 3.6 average rating (up 17% vs. last season). CBS is in second place with a 3.4 rating average (up 1% vs. last season). ABC is third with a 2.8 rating (down 2%). NBC is fourth with a 2.5 rating (down 5%). Univision is in fifth with a 1.6 rating average (even). CW is sixth with a 0.9 rating average (down 22%).
With total viewership, CBS is comfortably leading averaging 12.77 million viewers. FOX is second with 10.28m, followed by ABC with 9.7m, NBC with 7.24m, Univision with 3.64m and CW with 2.1 million.
Note that these season to date ratings averages are “Most Current” ratings which is a combination of Live + 7 Day DVR viewing for weeks more than 2 weeks ago and Live + Same Day DVR viewing for the immediately preceding 2 weeks.
