After more than five months, Fox's Bones finally returns tonight at 9pm with its seventh season premiere. When last seen -- at least with an original episode -- Bones scored a 3.2 adults 18-49 rating in its season finale on May 19, 2011.
In its season finale in May, Bones had an hour of American Idol that scored a 6.2 adults 18-49 rating as its lead in. The X Factor will still provide a decent lead-in, but it won't provide as much cover as 'Idol.' Will absence make the People Meters in Nielsen households grow fonder anyway?
