Sunday Cable Ratings: 'The Walking Dead,' 'Hell On Wheels' Lead AMC + 'Boardwalk Empire,' 'Homeland,' 'Dexter' & More

The Walking Dead rose 0.3 with adults 18-49 and easily led Sunday cable with a 3.4 adults 18-49 rating. We already posted the numbers for the Hell On Wheels premiere, but a little more detail is included in the table. AMC had the top two shows on cable for the night.

Nene was back and the Real Housewives of Atlanta premiered to a 1.5 adults 18-49 rating. Next Iron Chef drew a 1.2 adults 18-49 rating, steady vs. last week.

HBO's Boardwalk Empire rose a tenth to a 1.1 adults 18-49 rating. HBO's Hung was steady  a 0.5 adults 18-49 rating.

USA Network's original movie John Sanford's Certain Prey drew a 0.8 rating with adults 18-49 and 5.13 million viewers.

Dexter on Showtime was up 0.2 to a 1.0 adults 18-49 and Homeland was up a tenth to a 0.5 rating with adults 18-49. TLC's Sister Wives was down two tenths to a 0.7 adults 18-49 rating. Update: here are some bullets from Showtime:

• Homeland drew its biggest audience yet: the Sunday 10PM play was up +23% vs. the series premiere on Oct. 2^nd. Homeland delivered 1.33 million viewers at 10PM and 1.61 million viewers for the night. The series continues to grow its audience, up for the fourth consecutive week. With three week of complete data, Homeland is currently averaging 4.1 million viewers per week on all platforms (including On Demand, replays and DVR), making it SHOWTIME's biggest freshman series to-date.
• Dexter had its biggest audience since the premiere this past Sunday with 1.98 million viewers (up 10% vs. last week, 1.8 million) and with 2.45 million viewers for the night. With three week of complete data, Dexter is currently averaging 5.11 million viewers per week on all platforms (including On Demand, replays and DVR), pacing ahead of season five.
