Univision is Friday night’s #1 Network among Adults 18-34
Continues to be #2 Among Adults 18-34 in 2011 to Date Out Delivering ABC (+1%), CBS (+11%), and NBC (+6%)
Univision Broadcast Prime Highlights - Week of October 31, 2011 to November 6, 2011
- Univision out-delivered one or more of the English-language broadcast networks (ABC, CBS, NBC or FOX) on five out of seven nights last week among Adults 18-34 and on three out of seven nights among Adults 18-49.
- Thus far in 2011, Univision is the #2 broadcast network among Adults 18-34, averaging more viewers in this demographic than ABC (+1%), CBS (+11%), and NBC (+6%).
- Univision was the #1 network Friday night among Adults 18-34 and ranked #2 among Adults 18-49.
ü 2011 to-date, Univision is the top pick on Friday nights among Adults 18-34, ranking #1 91% of the time (41 out of 45 weeks). Furthermore in the current season Univision has been the #1 Network on Friday nights 6 out of 7 weeks for the demographic.
ü Univision’s entire primetime lineup ranked among the top 5 programs for Adults 18-34 including the #1 program for the night “La Fuerza del Destino” and #2 “Familia Con Suerte.”
- Sunday night’s “¡Mira Quién Baila!” featured guest appearances by Laura Pausini and Adrienne Bailon. The program ranked among the top 10 programs for the night among Adults 18-34 and among top 15 for Adults 18-49. The second season continues to outpace its prior season performance among Total Viewers 2+ (+4%), Adults 18-49 (+5%) and Adults 18-34 (+10%).
- On Monday night, “Don Francisco Presenta” helped Univision rank as the #3 network among Adults 18-34, increasing its audience compared to the prior week among Total Viewers 2+ (2.2 million; +4%), Adults 18-49 (1.2 million; +5%), and Adults 18-34 (620,000; +13%).
- “Aqui Y Ahora” ranked within the top 20 programs on Tuesday night among both Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34. The telecast built its audience versus the prior week among Total Viewers 2+ (+15%; 2.3 million), Adults 18-49 (+10%; 1.2 million), Adults 18-34 (+13%; 677,000)
- On Saturday night Univision aired the #5 program for the night among Adults 18-34, “Sabado Gigante” (Giant Saturday) and secured the #3 position for the night among Adults 18-34 out delivering FOX (+24%) and NBC (+117%).

- Last week, TeleFutura attracted nearly half a million Total Viewers 2+ (492,000), 291,000 Adults 18-49 and 141,000 Adults 18-34 during Broadcast Prime (Mon-Sat 8pm-11pm/Sun 7pm-11pm).
- In comparison to its previous week performance (10/24/11-10/30/11), TeleFutura delivered single to double-digit percentage increases among Total Viewers 2+ (492,000 vs. 464,000; +6%), Adults 18-49 (291,000 vs. 274,000; +6%) and Adults 18-34 (141,000 vs. 121,000; +17%) during broadcast prime.
- TeleFutura’s weeknight 9pm novela “El Ultimo Matrimonio Feliz,” averaged 367,000 Total Viewers 2+, 203,000 Adults 18-49 and 68,000 Adults 18-34. Versus its prior week average “El Ultimo Matrimonio Feliz” (10/24/11-10/28/11) grew its audience among Total Viewers 2+ (367,000 vs. 349,000; +5%) and among Adults 18-49 (203,000 vs. 198,000; +3%).
- At 10pm, TeleFutura’s novela/series “Correo de Inocentes”…
ü Drew in 458,000 Total Viewers 2+, 288,000 Adults 18-49 and 142,000 Adults 18-34.
ü Delivered its 2nd HIGHEST weekly audience levels since its premiere on 09/22/11 among Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34.
ü Registered strong week-to-week audience increases among Total Viewers 2+ (458,000 vs. 407,000; +13%), Adults 18-49 (288,000 vs. 244,000; +18%) and Adults 18-34 (142,000 vs. 111,000; +28%).
- For the second consecutive Sunday night, TeleFutura was the #2 Spanish-language network, beating Telemundo, from 7pm-11pm. The network’s primetime line-up which included back -to-back feature films “Cine de las Estrellas: The Marine 2” and “Cine de las Estrellas: Guerrero de la Calle” ("STREET WARRIOR") out-performed Telemundo’s entire primetime programming which consisted of “Pa’Lante con Cristina” and “Maravilloso Mundo de Disney: Bolt” by impressive margins among Total Viewers 2+ (TF 1,000,000 vs. TEL 857,000; +17% Adv.), Adults 18-49 (TF 617,000 vs. TEL 458,000; +35% Adv.) and Adults 18-34 (TF 370,000 vs. TEL 231,000; +60% Adv.) .
ü For the fourth consecutive Sunday and once again by impressive margins, TeleFutura beat Telemundo’s “Pa’Lante con Cristina” among all key demographics such as Total Viewers 2+ (TF 1,255,000 vs. TEL 841,000; +49% Adv.), Adults 18-49 (TF 767,000 vs. TEL 438,000; +75% Adv.) and Adults 18-34 (TF 466,000 vs. TEL 188,000; +148% Adv.) head-to-head in the 7pm-9pm block with “Cine de las Estrellas” – this week with feature film “The Marine 2”.
ü “The Marine 2” is TeleFutura’s HIGHEST ranking feature film in the current 2011/2012 Season among Total Viewers 2+, Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34.
