In celebration of “Green Is Universal” week, The Weather Channel will air the entire “Changing Planet” series starting Nov. 14

 

NEW YORK, NY—Nov. 9, 2011—In celebration of NBCUniversal’s “Green Is Universal” week, The Weather Channel announced that it will air “Changing Planet: Adapting to Our Water Future” on Wednesday, Nov.16th at 6 PM/ET. The event was moderated by NBC News Chief Environmental Affairs Correspondent Anne Thompson. The Weather Channel will also present encore broadcasts of the first two “Changing Planet” broadcasts during “Green Is Universal” week. “Changing Planet: Our Lives”— moderated by Tom Brokaw and hosted by Yale University— will air on Monday, Nov. 14 at 6 PM/ET. “Changing Planet: Clean Energy, Green Jobs, and Global Competition”— moderated by Anne Thompson and hosted by George Washington University—will air on Friday, November 18 at 6 PM/ET. The “Changing Planet” series is produced under a partnership between NBC Learn (the educational arm of NBC News), the National Science Foundation (NSF) and Discover magazine.
