'Katie' Asks For Less Ad $ Than 'Oprah,' But More Than 'Ellen' Or 'Live with Regis and Kelly'

The NY Post reports that Katie Couric's new daytime show Katie is asking for $50,000 per 30 second ad spot. That's half of the $100,000 that The Oprah Winfrey show reportedly commanded at the end of its run, but more than Ellen ($35,000) or Live with Regis and Kelly ($40,000).
