truTV’s hit seriesopened its fifth season last night with 1.9 million viewers and more than 1.1 million adults 18-49. The show easily outdelivered its June 2011 fourth-season premiere with adults 18-34 (+8%), adults 18-49 (+10%), men 18-34 (+30%) and men 18-49 (+22%).
Theseason premiere performed well against strong competition. In delivery of adults 18-49 (1.1 million), men 18-34 (373,000) and men 18-49 (731,000), the show ranked among basic cable’s Top 5 programs in the 9:30 p.m. timeslot. also grew its timeslot delivery of key demos by triple-digit percentages compared to the same night a year ago.
Withleading the way, truTV ranked among basic cable’s Top 10 networks last night in primetime delivery of key adult and male demos, outperforming competitors like History and Discovery.
