LIVERPOOL-Chelsea IS FOX’S MOST-WATCHED EPL MATCH
Liverpool’s 2-1 defeat of Chelsea on Sunday (11/20) is the most-watched English Premier League encore on FOX to date delivering 1.1 household rating, with 1.67 million total viewers, according to Nielsen Media Research. Of the five international soccer matches broadcast on FOX since 2010, three of which were EPL encores airing since September, only this year’s UEFA Champions League Final between FC Barcelona and Manchester United drew a bigger audience (2.6 million) on the network.
Together, the live telecast on FOX Soccer and the encore on FOX delivered a 1.36 HH rating, with an audience of 2.03 million. The combined FOX/FOX Soccer HH rating, along with figures for key demographic categories (366,000 M18-34; 790,000 M18-49 and 813,000 M25-54), are the highest totals of the three EPL matches that aired on both entities this year.
