|Program||Status||Renew/ Cancel Index|
After starting the year with relatively low ratings and spending time on the Renew / Cancel Index as a "toss up", relative ratings have recovered to the extent that it is now more likely to be renewed for another season than canceled. The show's ratings have risen slightly, while ABC's overall scripted show ratings have been steady to slightly down (which is typical) as the season moves past week 10.
At its current relative ratings level,is unlikely to be renewed for another season.
having only a single additional episode ordered and then going off the air is announcement enough. Folks who argue that the show's not canceled since it will still be on the air through its 14 episodes ordered are engaging in meaningless semantics. Renewed means it's coming back for a second season. Canceled means it isn't. It isn't.! and were defacto canceled after ABC left additional episodes for them off their mid-season schedule. Fans asking "Where's the announcement?" should know that no announcement is likely,
- :oops: - certain to be cancelled by May, 2012

The Renew/Cancel Index is the ratio of a scripted show's new episode adults 18-49 ratings relative to the new episode ratings of the other scripted shows on its own network. It's calculated by dividing a show's new episode Live+Same Day adults 18-49 averageby the Live+Same Day new episode average of all the new scripted show episodes on the show's own network. The network's average ratings in the calculation are not time weighted (ex. hour long shows are not weighted twice what 30 minute shows are).
(F) -Fridays: Shows airing on Fridays were renewed with significantly lower than average Indexes.
