A&E FINISHES BEST NOVEMBER IN NETWORK HISTORY
NETWORK DELIVERS DOUBLE-DIGIT GROWTH AMONG ALL KEY DEMOS
A&E RANKS #4 IN TOTAL VIEWERS AND ADULTS 18-49 AND # 5 IN ADULTS 25-54 AMONG ALL ENTERTAINMENT CABLE NETWORKS IN NOVEMBER 2011
NEW YORK, NY – November 30, 2011 – Continuing its ratings success, A&E enjoyed its best November ever among key demographics supported by double-digit ratings growth among adults 18-49, adults 25-54 and total viewers. Propelled by the strength of the network’s slate of original series, the network is up 14% in adults 25-54 (711,000), up 16% in adults 18-49 (686,000) and up 24% in total viewers (1.4 million) versus November 2010. For the month, A&E ranked #4 in adults 18-49 and total viewers and #5 in adults 25-54 among all entertainment cable networks, the network’s best November rank ever in adults 18-49.
This was A&E’s best November on record due to the strength of the network’s stable of original hit series including “Storage Wars,” “After The First 48,” “American Hoggers,” “Lady Hoggers,” “Bordertown Laredo” and “Monster In-Laws.”
A&E is poised for the network’s 8th consecutive year of growth, with audience levels in the adults 25-54, 18-49 and total viewer demos all up year-to-date 2011 versus the same time period last year.
