MUPPETS AND MODELS GIVE THE CW ITS MOST WATCHED WEDNESDAY IN A YEAR
A MUPPETS CHRISTMAS Gives The CW Best Time Period Numbers of the Season in Viewers and Key Demos
December 1, 2011 (Burbank, CA) – The Muppets got things started on The CW last night, with A MUPPETS CHRISTMAS propelling the network to its most watched Wednesday night in a year (2.16 million) and its highest rated Wednesday night of the season among adults 18-49 (0.8/2) and women 18-49 (1.1/3), according to preliminary Live Plus Same Day Nielsen ratings for Wednesday, Nov. 30, 2011.
A MUPPETS CHRISTMAS averaged 2.4 million viewers, the best in the time period since Dec. 8, 2010. Among adults 18-34 (0.8/3), women 18-34 (1.1/3), adults 18-49 (0.8/2) and women 18-49 (1.0/3), it was the best ratings for the time period since April 13, 2011. The children 2-11(1.3) was the best in the time period since Sept. 19, 2007.
AMERICA’Sheld steady from its last elimination episode two weeks ago in viewers (1.9M), adults 18-34 (0.8/2), adults 18-49 (0.8/2) and women 18-49 (1.2/3).
