Univision Continues to Win Friday Nights, Ranking #1 for the Second Consecutive Week among both Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34

Univision Broadcast Prime Highlights – Week of November 28, 2011 to December 4, 2011

 

  • Univision was the #3 network among Adults 18-34 for the entire week, delivering more Adult 18-34 viewers than CBS (+2%) and ABC (+10%). For the 41st time this year, Univision outperformed one or more of the top four E-L networks in this demo for the entire week.
  • Univision out-delivered two or more of the English-language broadcast networks (ABC, CBS, NBC or FOX) on five out of seven nights last week among Adults 18-34.
  • Univision was the #1 network for the second consecutive Friday night among both Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34.

ü  Univision aired the top two programs among Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34 including the #1 “Fuerza Del Destino” and #2 “Familia Con Suerte.”

ü  2011 to-date, Univision is the top pick on Friday nights among Adults 18-34, ranking #1   92% of the time (45 out of 49 weeks). Furthermore, in the current season Univision has been the #1 Network on Friday nights 10 out of 11 weeks for the demographic.

ü  Among Adults 18-49, Univision has been #1 on 26 out of 49 weeks in 2011 (53% of the time), with six #1 nights in the first 11 weeks of the current season.

  • Univision’s 8PM Novela, “Familia Con Suerte” increased its average compared to the prior week delivering 4.1 Million Total Viewers 2+ (+13%), 2.2 Million Adults 18-49 (+11%), and  1.3 Million Adults 18-34 (+13%).
  • Delivering its highest average Total Viewers 2+ audience to date, “Fuerza Del Destino” also posted gains among Total Viewers 2+ (4.9 Million, +8%), Adults 18-49 (2.6 Million, +9%), and Adults 18-34 (1.5 Million, +9%) compared to the prior week.
  • On Sunday night at 10PM “Sal Y Pimienta” increased its audience by double digit margins among Total Viewers 2+ (2 Million, +16%) and Adults 18-34 (403,000, +21%)  versus the previous week. The telecast also increased its audience by +5% among Adults 18-49 (871,000) versus last Sunday.
