(Stamford, CT--December 7, 2011) NBCUNIVERSAL'S MAURY, hosted by Maury Povich, continues its amazing demo streak by hitting 26 weeks in a row as the #1 daytime talk show with Women 18-34 and 18-49.
For the recently completed November 2011 sweep, MAURY delivered a 1.8 rating in Women 18-34 and a 1.7 rating in Women 18-49 increasing +6% over November 2010, among both Women 18-34 & Women 18-49.
MAURY's November 2011 sweep win was extremely impressive crushing the competition. In Women 18-34, MAURY's 1.8 is a +64% advantage over the #2 talk show in that category ("Ellen") and MAURY's 1.7 in Women 18-49 is a +21% advantage over the #2 talk show in that category ("Dr. Phil.")
Since the week of May 30, 2011 --(The week after "Oprah" said farewell), MAURY has been #1, and it currently is averaging a 1.8 Women 18-34 rating and a 1.6 Women 18-49 rating for the 2011-12 season.
For the week of November 14, 2011 MAURY (1.9 W18-34 & 1.7 W18-49) even beat "Live W/Regis & Kelly" (1.0 W18-34 & 1.6 W18-49) despite their huge surge that week from Regis’ farewell shows.
