HEISMAN TROPHY FINALISTS IN-STUDIO DURING HALFTIME OF ARMY-NAVY
CBS Sports broadcasts the 112th meeting of the Army-Navy football classic, one of the greatest rivalries in all of sports, live from FedEx Field in Landover, Md. onSaturday, Dec. 10 (2:30 PM, ET).
This is the third year is being played on the second Saturday in December to conclude college football’s regular-season.
Verne Lundquist and Gary Danielson, CBS Sports’ lead college football announce team, call the action with Tracy Wolfson reporting from the sidelines. Craig Silver, the Network’s coordinating producer of college football, produces and Steve Milton directs.
COLLEGE FOOTBALL TODAY, CBS Sports’ pre-game, halftime and post-game studio show, kicks off coverage of the Army-Navy classic at 2:00 PM, ET. Tim Brando serves as host along with analysts Spencer Tillman and Aaron Taylor, with a special essay from CBS Sports golf analyst David Feherty. For the third consecutive year, all five Heisman Trophy finalists will be in-studio for a special segment during halftime of Army-Navy. Vin DeVito produces and Linda Malino directs.Harold Bryant is Executive Producer and Vice President, Production, CBS Sports.
In addition to CBS Sports’ live game broadcast, CBS Sports Network provides complete coverage of Army-Navy on Saturday, Dec. 10. Kicking off the day’s action (11:00 AM-12:30 PM, ET), CBS Sports Network airs INSIDE COLLEGE FOOTBALL: ARMY-NAVY MARCH ON SPECIAL, which for the first-time ever on national television features the traditional “March On” procession where the Brigade of Midshipmen and Corps of Cadets make their entrance to the Field. Zucker hosts and is joined by former Army player Lt. Col. Mike McElrath, Cadet Kyle Johnson, Navy Captain Robert E. Clark and Midshipman Carolyn Zu to explain the procession.
Live from FedEx Field, INSIDE COLLEGE FOOTBALL: ARMY-NAVY TAILGATE (1:00-2:00 PM, ET), previews and features interviews withGeneral Martin Dempsey, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, and former Navy Quarterbacks Roger Staubach and Ricky Dobbs.
