Number One Show ‘Rachael vs. Guy Celebrity Cook-Off’
Highest-Rated, Most-Watched Cable Network on Sunday Night
NEW YORK – January 4, 2010 – Food Network began the New Year with a bang, premiering Rachael vs. Guy Celebrity Cook-Off on New Year’s Day, posting a 1.5 adults 25-54 rating and finished #1 in its timeslot among ad-supported cable networks (#2 for the night). Among adults 25-54, the show saw a 48% lift over the prior 13-week average and a 22% increase vs. year ago.Food Network was also the highest-rated, most-watched cable network on Sunday night, posting a 1.2 rating and garnering 1.3 million impressions among adults 25-54. Additionally, the week of December 26th was the network’s highest-rated week ever with a .7 adults 25-54 rating and .9 women 25-54 in prime*.
