NBC Tops Adults 18-49 Ratings, CBS Tops Viewership for Week 15 Ending January 1, 2012
With repeats galore, a massive Cowboys-Giants Sunday Night Football was more than enough to lift NBC to the top. NBC led the week with adults 18-49 with a 2.0 rating average, ahead of CBS’ 1.7 adults 18-49 rating. Univision was third for the week with a 1.4 adults 18-49 average. ABC was fourth with a 1.3 rating average. FOX fell to fifth with a 1.0 rating average. The CW finished sixth with a 0.3 adults 18-49 rating average.
CBS won the week with total viewers averaging 7.16 million viewers, ahead of second place NBC’s 6.34 million average. ABC was third with 4.71 million, followed by Univision with 3.49m, FOX with 2.91m, and the CW with 0.90m.
Each adults 18-49 rating point is a percentage of the adults 18-49 US TV population and equals 1.279 million adults 18-49.
