(Stamford, CT. January 5, 2012)–NBCUNIVERSAL’s MAURY, hosted by Maury Povich, tied its season high, with a 4% increase to a 2.4 HH rating,  making it the third highest rated talker for the week of 12/19/11 . Additionally it averaged 3,430,000. total viewers, which is a season high.   +5% (3,430,000 vs. 3,254,000) vs. the prior week and +6% (3,430,000 vs. 3,246,000) vs. the same week last year.  Best week since the week of 7/25/11 (21 week high).

MAURY also increased 14% (2.4 vs. 2.1) year-to-year for the week of 12/19/11 compared to 12/20/10.

Additionally, MAURY continues its roll as the # 1 talker in the following key demos:

  • Women 18-34:  1.6 Rating.      The #1 syndicated talk show for the last 30 weeks.
  • Women 18-49:  1.6 Rating.      The #1 syndicated talk show for the last 30 weeks.
  • Adults 18-34:    1.1 Rating.      The #1 syndicated talk show for the last 30 weeks.
  • Adults 18-49:    1.2 Rating.      The #1 syndicated talk show for the last 30 weeks.

 

THE JERRY SPRINGER SHOW increased 7% reaching a new season high, 1.6 HH rating, for the week of 12/19/11.  That is the highest SPRINGER ratings in 22 weeks. (7/8/11.)

The JERRY SPRINGER SHOW also increased 14% (1.6 vs. 1.4) year-to-year, for the week of 12/19/11 compared to 12/20/10.

Additionally, THE STEVE WILKOS SHOW, increased 8% to a 1.4 for week and 8% (1.4 vs. 1.3)year-to-year for the week of 12/19/11 compared to 12/20/10.
