Jersey Shore's season 5 premiere drew a 4.0 adults 18-49 rating, down three tenths of a point from its season 4 premiere. That was still way above anything on broadcast at 10pm on Thursday (and likely will be for the rest of the season). Our polled readers were on the mark in guessing the premiere ratings.
Here's a walk down Jersey Shore ratings memory lane:
- Season 4 finale 10/20/11: 3.7 adults 18-49 rating
- Season 4 premiere 8/4/11: 4.3 adults 18-49 rating
- Season 3 finale 3/24/11: 4.1 adults 18-49 rating
- Season 3 premiere 1/6/2011: 4.2 adults 18-49 rating
I will continue to include the 10:30 The Big Bang Theory in the list for those watching the Conan situation, but there were lots more BBTs near the top of the list as well.
Beyond Scared Straight was up a tenth vs. last week to a 1.1 adults 18-49 rating.
Project Runway All Stars premiered to a 0.8 adults 18-49 rating.
truTV's Impractical Jokers was up a tenth and even vs last week to 0.7 and 0.5 adults 18-49 ratings respectively.
The premiere of Discovery's Alaska: The Last Frontier had a 0.5 adults 18-49 rating.
The season finale of History's Big Shrimpin' had a 0.4 adults 18-49 rating.
