DISCOVERY CHANNEL’S GOLD RUSH STRIKES IT BIG IN RATINGS ON FRIDAY NIGHT AS THE #1 PROGRAM IN ALL OF TELEVISION AMONG MEN

 

GOLD RUSH was Watched by 4.69 Million Viewers on Friday Night —

 

(Silver Spring, Md.)–Discovery Channel’s hit series GOLD RUSH delivered huge ratings on Friday, January 6 at 9PM ET/PT making the show #1 in all of television (excluding sports, behind only the AT&T Cotton Bowl on FOX) during primetime with M25-54/18-49.  The episode titled “Dead in the Water” garnered a 3.15 HH rating and a 2.53 P25-54 rating.  GOLD RUSH was watched by 4.69 million viewers P2+.

 

Following GOLD RUSH at 10PM ET/PT was FLYING WILD ALASKA, which earned a 1.55 HH rating and a 1.08 P25-54 delivering an average of 2.20 million viewers P2+.  Discovery Channel’s primetime line-up on Friday, of GOLD RUSH and FLYING WILD ALASKA made it the #1 cable network among P25-54/18-49 and M25-54/18-49 in ratings and delivery.

 

GOLD RUSH returns on Friday, 9PM ET/PT followed by FLYING WILD ALASKA at 10PM ET/PT on Discovery Channel.
