2011-12 Season: CBS Still Atop Adults 18-49 Ratings & Viewership Through Week 16 Ending January 8, 2012
After sixteen weeks of the 2011-12 TV season (through 1/8/12), CBS is ahead of FOX in the advertiser prized adults 18-49 ratings for the season with a 3.2 average rating (up 7% vs. last season) to Fox’s 3.0 rating (up 9% vs. last season). ABC (down 1% vs last season) and NBC (down 9% vs. last season) are currently tied in third with a 2.5 rating. Univision is in fifth with a 1.5 rating average (down 1%). CW is sixth with a 0.8 rating average (down 22% vs. last season).
Among total viewers, CBS is comfortably ahead for the season averaging 12.17 million viewers. ABC is second with 8.63m, followed by FOX with 8.33m, NBC with 7.45m, Univision with 3.56m and CW with 1.84 million.
Note that these season to date ratings averages are “Most Current” ratings which is a combination of Live + 7 Day DVR viewing for weeks more than 2 weeks ago and Live + Same Day DVR viewing for the immediately preceding 2 weeks.
