CBS Tops Adults 18-49 Ratings, Viewership for Week 16 Ending January 8, 2012
With an hour plus of a massive Steelers-Broncos, CBS was way out in front for the week with adults 18-49 with a 3.3 rating average, ahead of NBC’s (which had a primetime NFL playoff game on Saturday night) 2.7 adults 18-49 rating. ABC was third for the week with a 2.3 adults 18-49 average. FOX and Univision tied for fourth with a 1.4 adults 18-49 rating average. The CW finished sixth with a 0.5 adults 18-49 rating average.
CBS won the week with total viewers averaging 12.670 million viewers, ahead of second place NBC’s 8.260 million average. ABC was third with 7.27 million, followed by FOX with 4.23m, Univision with 3.60m, and the CW with 1.38m.
Each adults 18-49 rating point is a percentage of the adults 18-49 US TV population and equals 1.279 million adults 18-49.
