NEW YORK, NY—January 11, 2012—Millions of fans tuned in to BET’s scripted night of programming on Tuesday, January 10 for the debuts of season 5 of THE GAME at 10:00 p.m.* and season 2 of LET’S STAY TOGETHER at 11:00 p.m.* THE GAME, garnering 5.3 million total viewers according to The Nielsen Company, was the #1 BET telecast this year, making it cable’s #1 scripted series telecast among 18-49 this season and the #1 cable sitcom premiere this season among households, viewers and adults 18-49. LET’S STAY TOGETHER, garnered 3.5 million total viewers according to The Nielsen Company and earned triple digit time-slot gains.
In addition to its incredible on-air performance, THE GAME had the highest amount of social media buzz of all other prime-time cable television shows, according to Trendrr’s Prime-Time Television Activity Chart for Tuesday, January 10, 2012. LET’S STAY TOGETHER also made Trendrr’s Daily Cable Top 10 list for Tuesday, January 10, 2012.
