HISTORY® Continues Ratings Dominance as New Seasons of Hit Series

Propel Network to #1 in Cable Wednesday Night Among Adults 25-54
New Wednesday 9-11 p.m. Line-Up Averaged 2.8 Million Total Viewers
New York, January 12, 2012 – HISTORY’s primetime line-up on Wednesday, January 11 from 9-11 p.m. produced stellar ratings for the network. The new seasons of hit seriesWITH LARRY THE CABLE GUY and propelled HISTORY to #1 in cable on Wednesday night among Adults 25-54. The network was also the #1 non-sports network among M25-54 and M18-49.
At 9 p.m., season two ofWITH LARRY THE CABLE GUY earned 2.7 million total viewers, 1.3 million Adults 25-54 and 1.1 million Adults 18-49. This is up vs. the season one average across all demos: +29% among total viewers, +30% among Adults 25-54 and +19% among Adults 18-49.
The new season offollowed at 10 p.m. and earned 2.8 million total viewers, 1.4 million Adults 25-54 and 1.2 million Adults 18-49. Versus the 2011 Friday premiere average, it was up +17% among total viewers and Adults 25-54 and +9% among Adults 18-49. In its time period, ranked as the #1 non-sports telecast in cable among Adults and Men 25-54.
The new Wednesday 9-11 p.m. line-up averaged 2.8 million total viewers, 1.4 million Adults 25-54 and 1.2 million Adults 18-49, more than doubling the 2011 time period average.
