via NBC press note:

From 8-11 p.m., NBC’s coverage of “The 69th Annual Golden Globe Awards” aired live in all time zones and currently available fast affiliate-based ratings are not time zone-adjusted and understate the telecast’s ratings. In metered-market households, which are time zone-adjusted, the “Golden Globes” averaged an 11.7 rating, 18 share, retaining 99 percent of last year’s 11.8/18 and ranking #1 in the time period.

From 7-8 p.m., “The 2012 Golden Globe Awards Red Carpet Special” aired live in all time zones and currently available fast affiliate-based ratings are subject to significant revision. In metered-market households, “The 2012 Golden Globe Awards Red Carpet Special” averaged a 3.8 rating, 6 share, versus its 4.5/7 of one year ago.
