Emotions run high when former fire fighter Gill Callahan opens up his restaurant “The Fire Alarm Grill” right next door to Sara Westover’s “Chez Varenne”. To make matters worse, Gill’s rowdy restaurant soon overshadows Sara’s struggling classic French restaurant. Gill’s daughter, Hannah, helps ease the tension and bring romance into the kitchen; however their budding relationship is tested when a local food critic reviews “The Five Alarm Grill” instead of “Chez Varenne”. Can the couple resist the temptation to compete with each other, or will the heat of the competition drive them apart?
