IFC’s “Portlandia” Grows Audience In Week Two

Note, the numbers below are Live+3 Day (includes 3 days of DVR viewing). In Live+SD (same day DVR viewing) viewing it averaged 315,000 for the initial 10pm Friday telecast. Sadly, I don’t have the Live+SD adults 18-49 ratings available.

IFC’s hit comedy series, Portlandia, attracted a strong week two audience on Friday, January 13, 10-10:30 pm, et/pt, building on the successful performance of the series’ second season debut on Friday, January 6.  Highlights of episode two include:


  • 643,000 total viewers, up +26% over premiere
  • 504,000 A18-49, up +29% over premiere


In addition, the episode ranks #1 for percent of playback growth among all original primetime shows on cable over the past two weeks among households, total viewers and A18-49.
