CBS NEWS’ “FACE THE NATION” IS FIRST IN VIEWERS AND ADULTS 25-54 ON SUNDAY, JAN. 15 WITH 3.54 MILLION VIEWERS
“FACE THE NATION” IS ALSO UP +10% IN HOUSEHOLDS, +19% IN VIEWERS AND +83% IN ADULTS 25-54, COMPARED TO THE SAME WEEK LAST YEAR
CBS News’ FACE THE NATION is the #1 public affairs show. FACE THE NATION is first in viewers and adults 25-54, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for Sunday, Jan. 15, 2012.
The CBS broadcast posted its best household rating since March 13, 2011 and best viewers and adults 25-54 deliveries since March 29, 2009. Compared to the same day last year, FACE THE NATION was up +10% in households, +19% in viewers and +83% in adults 25-54, season-to-date.
On the broadcast, Bob Schieffer interviewed Republican presidential candidates Newt Gingrich and Rick Santorum, Republican Sen. Jim DeMint and New York Times correspondent Jodi Kantor, author of The Obamas.
FACE THE NATION is broadcast Sundays (10:30-11:00 AM, ET; check local listings) on the CBS Television Network. Mary Hager is the Executive Producer.
