“CBS THIS MORNING” DEBUT WEEK DELIVERS +5% BOOST IN BOTH HOUSEHOLDS AND VIEWERS COMPARED TO DECEMBER WEEKS

 

“CBS THIS MORNING” POSTED IN-WEEK VIEWER GAINS

 

CBS THIS MORNING delivered a +5% increase in both households and viewers compared to pre-holiday weeks, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for the week ending Jan. 13, 2012.  The new CBS broadcast also gained viewers over the course of the week.

CBS THIS MORNING built viewership during the week.  The broadcast posted +10% gain in households Monday to Friday (2.2/08 from 2.0/07) and +8% in viewers (2.94m from 2.72m).

 

CBS THIS MORNING debut week featured interviews with First Lady Michelle Obama, presidential candidates Newt Gingrich and Ron Paul, Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.), film mogul Harvey Weinstein and actress Rooney Mara.
