American Idol and The Big Bang Theory were each adjusted up a tenth with adults 18-49, landing in a virtual tie for the night’s highest rating, but Big Bang Theory beat out Idol in the head-to-head 30 minute period (in the preliminary ratings it was 5.4 vs. a 4.8, sadly we don’t get time period breakouts in the final numbers we receive. update: through the magic of an updated CBS press release, it was 5.5 vs. 4.9).

The 5.5 adults 18-49 rating was an all-time Thursday high for The Big Bang Theory (it also hit Thursday highs with adults 18-34 with a 4.1 rating).

The Finder was adjusted down a tenth with adults 18-49 vs. the preliminary numbers. The Private Practice repeat was adjusted down a tenth as well.
