Fox Tops Adults 18-49 Ratings, CBS Leads Viewership for Week 19 Ending January 29, 2012

Even with noticeable declines vs. last season for American Idol, Fox was again out in front for the week with adults 18-49 with  a 3.0 rating average. CBS was second for the week with a 2.0 adults 18-49 average. NBC was third with a 1.8 adults 18-49 rating average. ABC was fourth with a 1.6 Univision was fifth with a 1.5 rating. The CW finished sixth with a 0.5 adults 18-49 rating average.

CBS won the week with total viewers averaging 9.34 million viewers, ahead of second place FOX’s 8.04 million average. NBC was third with 6.09 million, followed by ABC with 5.69m, Univision with 3.67m, and the CW with 1.14m.

Each adults 18-49 rating point is a percentage of the adults 18-49 US TV population and equals 1.279 million adults 18-49.
