
FOX News Channel was the dominant news channel in both total viewers and adults 25-54 demo during the fourth Republican primary night with coverage of the 2012 Florida primary. This marks the fourth consecutive win for FNC beating CNN and MSNBC combined in primetime in total viewers and also marks the second highest rated primary night so far this election season (second only to FNC’s coverage of SC Primary).
FNC averaged 2.7 million viewers during its 8-10PM coverage and 684,000 with viewers 25-54 – making it the most watched cable news network of the night. FOX News Channel’s special coverage of the Florida primary ranked in the top 20 telecasts for the night.
