After twenty weeks of the 2011-12 TV season (through 2/5/12), Fox remained ahead of CBS (where they will likely stay for the rest of the season) in the advertiser prized adults 18-49 ratings for the season with a 3.3 average rating (down 3% vs. last season) to CBS's 3.1 rating (up 3% vs. last season). The Super Bowl pushed NBC (2.7, up 5% vs. last year) into third place for the season, ahead of ABC (2.4, up 1% vs. last season) . Univision is in fifth with a 1.5 rating average (even). CW is sixth with a 0.8 rating average (down 26% vs. last season).
Among total viewers, CBS is comfortably ahead for the season averaging 12.00 million viewers. FOX is second with 9.05m, followed by ABC with 8.34m, NBC with 8.11m, Univision with 3..56m and CW with 1.78 million.
Note that these season to date ratings averages are "Most Current" ratings which is a combination of Live + 7 Day DVR viewing for weeks more than 2 weeks ago and Live + Same Day DVR viewing for the immediately preceding 2 weeks.
