The Walking Dead returns for the rest of its second season after being off the air since November 27, 2011. It went out on top, easily leading cable for the night with adults 18-49 with a 3.5 rating. That was 0.4 higher than it's episode on November 20 and just three tenths off its season two premiere (3.8 adults 18-49 rating). It also easily led in total viewership with an average of 6.62 million.
