The cover of the 2012 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue, along with the identity of the 2012 cover model, Kate Upton, is revealed on the LATE SHOW with DAVID LETTERMAN, Monday, Feb. 13.
The cover reveal, the fifth consecutive year it has happened on the LATE SHOW, took place with the unveiling of the cover image on a billboard high atop Broadway across from the Ed Sullivan Theater during the broadcast.
Also during the broadcast, 10 of the Swimsuit models gracing the pages of the 2012 issue, including Upton, Julie Henderson, Jessica Gomes, Ariel Meredith, Alyssa Miller, Chrissy Teigen, Genevieve Morton, Izabel Goulart, Jessica Perez and Irina Shayk, present the “Top Ten Reasons Why This Year’s Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue Is the Best One Ever." Among the items they presented include number 5, read by Morton: “Like the LATE SHOW, Sports Illustrated is made from 99% recycled material”; number 6, read by Goulart: “Because I said so, dammit;” and number 3, read by Perez, “Four of us are married to Newt.”
The full 2012 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit cover reveal, the full Top Ten List, and interviews with Reese Witherspoon, Michael Weatherly from the #1 CBS drama series, “NCIS,” and a performance by musical guests Kasabian, can be seen on the LATE SHOW tonight(11:35 PM-12:37 AM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.
On the LATE SHOW Tuesday, Feb. 14, Sports Illustrated Swimsuit cover model Upton will make hearts flutter when she visits the broadcast on Valentine’s Day for an interview with Letterman. Also visiting the LATE SHOW Tuesday, Feb. 14 are Academy Award nominee Viola Davis and a performance by musical guests Mark Ronson, Erykah Badu, Zigaboo Modeliste and members of the Dap Kings.
