UP +17% IN HOUSEHOLDS, +12% IN VIEWERS AND +23% IN ADULTS 25-54
CBS SUNDAY MORNING WITH CHARLES OSGOOD was again the #1 Sunday morning news program in households, viewers and adults 25-54, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for Feb. 12. SUNDAY MORNING posted a 4.1/11 with 5.89m viewers, 1.6/08 in adults 25-54 its best household rating since Feb. 26, 2006, best viewers delivery since Feb. 4, 1996 and best adults 25-54 rating since Dec. 12, 2010. Compared to the same day last year, CBS SUNDAY MORNING was up +17% in households (from 3.5/10), +12% in viewers (from 5.28m) and +23% in adults 25-54 (from 1.3/07).
Season-to-date, CBS SUNDAY MORNING is up +3% in households (3.7/10 from 3.6/10), up slightly in viewers (5.30m from 5.28m) and even in adults 25-54 (1.4/07) compared to last year.
The broadcast included correspondent Bill Whitaker’s retrospective of singer Whitney Houston’s life and career, Anthony Mason’s profile of entertainer Glen Campbell and his battle with Alzheimer’s, Lee Cowan’s conversation with actress Kate Walsh and Bill Geist’s visit with Hickory, the reigning champion of the last year’s Westminster Dog Show.
